Job Title:Senior Process Engineer

Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, enhancing production efficiency, ensuring process stability, and maintaining high product quality. As a Senior Process Engineer at our Friendly, WV site, you will be responsible for developing and implementing projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in various areas of production.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal company standards for EHS protection.
  • Collaborate with site EHS to implement Process Safety Management activities.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for environmental improvement, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal company standards.
  • Ensure all processes, products, and raw materials comply with relevant regulations and local laws.
  • Develop technical and economic studies for new product implementations, evaluating plant capacity, process conditions, and investment needs.
  • Coordinate technology transfer processes and New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  • Recommend process and equipment changes to positively influence quality, cost, and productivity.
  • Lead improvement projects using continuous improvement methodology and tools.
  • Provide technical support related to quality issues, customer complaints, and root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

The following are required for the role

  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • 5+ experience as a Production or Process Engineer in industrial chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office, and ChemCAD
  • Knowledge of continuous and batch chemical processes.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and innovation.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment, including the ability to troubleshoot process problems and implement corrective actions.

The following are preferred for this role

  • Technical knowledge in industrial equipment and chemical products.
  • SAP Knowledge
  • CI Lean methodology, Six-Sigma, Lean Six-Sigma, 5S experience.
  • Process Safety Management knowledge (MOC, PSSR, PHA, LOPA).
  • Knowledge of instrument and electric domain (DCS) experience.

What We Offer:Base Pay Range: $93,000.00 - $135,850.00

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
