Summary

The Tender Manager is responsible for managing the internal tender process for new and existing business opportunities while ensuring that DSV provides the most competitive and profitable bids to clients. The Tender Manager will be required to work with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid pricing process.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the tender pricing and/or coordinating process from start to finish, including all internal file coordination, pricing and timely submission.
  • Work closely with cross-functional product teams as well as commercial teams to ensure that all relevant information is included in the bid process
  • Stay informed and up to date with all inter department meetings, minutes of meetings, and changes within the industry for air and sea.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Educational background / Work experience

  • Bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
  • 3-5 years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on tender management and pricing, with keen understanding of sea and air standard routings

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape

Language skills

  • Fluent in English (oral and written)

For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,000 - $84,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
